Just a FYI that after a few years away from wargaming that I’m digging out my old imagi-nation and starting to paint again. What are you upto nowadays?
I’m going to try 10mm for a R-W army and have been designing new flags 🙂

My Father Harry Carass left for Spain on the 6th Feb 1937. I know nothing about his time over there but I do know he was jailed in Barcelona, and, with a colleague managed to escape. My Father boarded a Swedish ship and was promised a trip to the UK in return for work.
His return trip took many months as the ship crossed the Atlantic to S. America then round the coast calling at many ports, through the Panama Canal on to Cork in Ireland and finally Liverpool! He apparently wrote a book (My Aunt and Uncle read it) but I have never seen it other than watching my Father banging away on a typewriter when I was 3!
